This site's task is to make available to users the best scholarship about the peoples and nations of the Iberian peninsula. Consequently, the book list is principally drawn from recent, but out-of-print university press monographs.
Biblioteca Digital Hispánica
The Biblioteca Digital Hispánica (BDH), the Spanish Digital Library, is an online resource of the National Library of Spain. The BDH currently offers online access to books, manuscripts, drawings, prints, brochures, posters, photographs, maps and atlases, from the fifteenth to the nineteenth centuries.
Hispano Medievalismo : recursos en linea
Extensive database of full-text documents (medieval Spanish literature), scholarly criticism, academic journal indexes, conference proceedings, etc.

These databases are available to Hofstra students and faculty both on and off campus through the portal.

Dictionary of Literary Biography
Systematically presents career biographies and criticism of writers from all eras and all genres through volumes dedicated to specific types of literature and time periods.
Hispanic American Periodical Index (HAPI)
A source for over 275,000 journal article citations about Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil, and Hispanics/Latinos in the United States.
