Where to Study in Axinn Library

This guide outlines study spaces in the library - silent, quiet, group study, study rooms. There's a place for you!

Quiet Individual Study Areas in Axinn

Main Floor - Reference Room. The reference room has individual study carrels, each with a light and a power connection. The reference room is a silent study area. You will be able to study intensely without interruption.

Ground Floor Lounge (by the elevators). The Ground floor lounge is typically very quiet. You will find comfortable chairs with tables. Power outlets are in the floor. There may be occasional noise from people getting on/off the elevators or walking to the bathrooms down the hall.

Tenth floor. The tenth floor of Axinn has great views: you can see the Manhattan skyline on clear days, and the sunsets are spectacular. There are tables and chairs around the perimeter. The tenth floor is a silent study area. It is occasionally not available, when in use by groups for conferences or other events.
