How to Search for a Book in the Axinn Library
Irish Studies by its nature is interdisciplinary. It covers a broad range of subjects including history, literature, art and sociology.
Our circulating books are found on floors 4-8. Use the Library Catalog and begin with a Keyword Search. Search the records you find for the appropriate Subject heading. Click on the Subject link which will lead you to books relevant to your topic and you can then determine by the call number on which floor your books are held.
In addition, we have a great number of ebooks which you can download through our Library Catalog.

Click on Books/eBooks on the Library Homepage. You can search by Author, Title, or Keyword.
According to Google, they have scanned 10 million books. Most of these books are no longer in print. One million are in the public domain.
Catalog containing over 54 million records, representing the holdings of thousands of libraries. Items found in WorldCat that are not owned by Axinn Library may be requested through Interlibrary Loan.
