Film and Media Collections

Hofstra licenses titles by request from Kanopy Streaming. Kanopy offers many titles but most must be requested in advance by a Hofstra student or faculty member.

In general, titles will be licensed upon request for research or teaching.

All videos from Kanopy can be embedded into Canvas or other authenticated university web pages by using the Share/Embed button below the video player. Just copy/paste the code provided.

It's easy to make custom clips and playlists for films from the Kanopy collection. There is a user guide available here.
