SOM Literature Searching: Accessing Full-Text

To obtain full-text articles, users MUST access PubMed from either the ZSOM Health Sciences Library website or through the Electronic Medical Information Library (EMIL) via the Northwell Intranet.

As of January 2020, users will see the Northwell Health Full-Text icon  on all citations in PubMed. Click on the icon to verify whether we have access to the full-text. Users can also check for full-text access via the Journal and eBook Finder.

If the library does not have access to a particular citation, users can submit an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request. The ILL request form can be found on the SOM library website>Services>Request an Article/Book. This is a free service to all ZSOM and Northwell users.
