LEP
Limited English Proficiency (LEP) patients are required by federal regulations to be accommodated by hospitals. Hospitals, doctor's offices, and pharmacies must provide access to medical interpreters for LEP patients by law.
EthnoMed is an ethnic medicine website containing medical and cultural information about immigrant and refugee groups. Can be filtered for patient or provider facing information. Information is specific to groups in the Seattle area, but much of the cultural and health information is of interest and applicable in other geographic areas.
