This guide contains links to sources of free CEUs for nurses, organized by topic. Some platforms are free to Northwell/Hofstra School of Nursing team members via the library and some are freely available to all on the web.
For most platforms, you will need to create a personal account with that website in order to do the CEU activity and claim the credit. Most of the links in this guide will take you directly to the listed CEU activity, with the exception of the Clinical Key for Nursing and CINAHL platforms. Clicking on links to these sites will take you to the log in page, and once you have created and logged in to your account you can search the course catalog for the listed activity.

Northwell employees can also earn CME credits through use of the four point of care tools that the library subscribes to. Generally, in order to earn CME on these platforms, you create a personal account which accumulates CME credits as you search the platform. Then you can claim the CME credit as needed.
