Library Instruction in Blackboard: Home

Library Instruction in Blackboard

We can provide instruction in the form of a

  • live session in your Blackboard course
  • a video featuring how to search specific resources/databases
  • a subject guide that offers a more in-depth treatment of resources relevant to your course

You let us know how we can bring the library to your students.

Explore our Subject Guides

You can explore our existing subject guides here: https://libguides.hofstra.edu/?b=s .

If you would like to have a subject guide created for your course, reach out!  See: https://www.hofstra.edu/library/library_contact.html#facsubject .

Use Collaborate in your Blackboard course

You can use Collaborate in your Blackboard course to establish a time and space for librarians to join your course and provide instruction.  Please consult with your library liaison to make this happen.  The list of library liaisons is here: https://www.hofstra.edu/library/library_contact.html#facsubject .
