Journal Finder: How to Find the Full Text of Articles in Periodicals: Using Journal Finder from a Database

This guide shows you how to locate the full text of an article when it is not available in the database you are searching.

1. Click on the Find Article Link.

You can find out if the full text of an article is available in another database by clicking on the Find Article link.

2. If the Full Text is Available...

If the full text is available, you will find one or more databases containing the article.

3. If the Full Text Is Not Available...

If no full text is available, Journal Finder links directly to Hofstra's online Interlibrary Loan request form. The required information is supplied: all you need to do is log in (after you have set up an account), and submit the form.
